Surprisingly + unfortunately the interest in funding public projects for setting up projects eliminating the need for reinventing the wheel w.r.t. DDD patterns in Django (+ Python on general) over and over again is non existing.

Sounds pretty interesting! If you build the project as open source we could think about merging forces… I‘d be interested in contributing ;-)
